​​Performing pre- and post-trip inspections that require looking under truck and hood.

Dropping and/or hooking up to tank trailers. 
Following specific protocols at each plant terminal regarding

attaching/removing hoses, grounds, vapor recovery, etc. before and after loading and unloading.
Monitoring loading and unloading processes.
Remaining vigilant of security issues while en route.
Following SOPs regarding potential Hazmat spills/incidents.

Review bills of lading and placards for correct Hazardous Materials information.

Participate in DOT drug and alcohol testing as per Federal regulations and company policy.
